The brand that is part of the Retail Apparel Group (RAG) has opened a store at Orana Mall.
Centre manager James Wall said it was a welcome addition to the city.
"Rockwear is part of the RAG group of companies, it's a sister company to Tarocash, Connor, Johnny Bigg," he said.
"So we've been pretty lucky to receive it.
"It's all women's activewear, and as you see when you go in store, they've got a very large variety of activewear, so it's a good score for Dubbo."
Mr Wall reported customers were embracing Rockwear.
"It's been a very successful two weeks for the company, they've traded very, very well," he said.
Rockwear was started in 1991.
It has opened in a premises until recently occupied by women's fashion chain Suzanne Grae.
Suzanne Grae closed its doors at Orana Mall and in Macquarie Street at the end of August, after decades of trading in Dubbo.
