2020 Dubbo Electorate Christmas Card design competition

NINE-year-old Amelia Laws from St Mary's Primary School has won this years Christmas Card design competition for the Dubbo state electorate office.
Each year the state member asks students from around the electorate to design their Christmas Card, which is then sent out to constituents.

Amelia's design featured her uncle Ben, who lives in Queensland, bursting out of a present declaring 'I'm home for Christmas'.
Mr Saunders said that family should be together was an overwhelming theme among the hundreds of entries he received, followed by the drought breaking rain that had fallen during 2020.
Maisie Stanley (11) from St Augustine's Parish School, Narromine was chosen for second place, with 10-year-old Sienna Newstead from St Pius X Primary School, Dubbo earning third place.
