Dubbo Chamber of Commerce president Matt Wright welcomed the arrival of the Grace Brennan-led initiative to space funded by Elders at The Exchange.
"That's really exciting and well done to the guys from The Exchange to be able to host the team from Buy From The Bush and well done to Elders for sponsoring that," he said.
"To have that in the heart of the city and in a regional location, it's an obvious choice to have a base for a business such as that in a strong regional community so Dubbo is a great example of that."
Buy From The Bush started on social media 13 months ago to showcase products from communities in drought.
Mr Wright said with the traction businesses were able to gain on the back of Buy From The Bush, the movement highlighted the importance of having an online presence, which was timely ahead of this week's Black Friday sales.
"For businesses to understand what it means to be online and what markets and what opportunities you can gain by having an online presence is just so super important," he said.
"...So I hope the Buy From The Bush team can continue to reiterate the importance of businesses having an online presence and reaching markets they might not otherwise be able to reach."
