Three teenagers have been charged over an alleged break and enter and vehicle theft in Bourke

About 1.40pm on Wednesday three males allegedly used stolen keys to access a delivery vehicle, belonging to a supermarket in Oxley Street, Bourke.
The white Holden Rodeo was allegedly driven around Bourke by a 16-year-old, with two other teenagers, aged 15 and 13, also in the vehicle.

Officers attached to the Central North Police District observed the vehicle coming out of bushland onto Weir Road.
Police allege the Holden Rodeo was driven towards two police vehicles, narrowly missing them. A pursuit was initiated but terminated a short time later due to safety concerns.
About 2.40pm, police attended a house in Harris Street, Bourke, where all three teenagers were arrested and taken to Bourke Police Station.
The 16-year-old was charged with;
- Aggravated enter dwelling with intent - knowing people there
- Larceny
- Steal motor vehicle
- Take and drive conveyance without consent of owner
- Police pursuit - not stop - drive dangerously
- Never licensed person drive vehicle on road - first offence
They were also charged with aggravated break and enter dwelling in company steal, which police allege relates to a break and enter at Bourke Post Office last Thursday.
The two other teenagers were charged with;
- Aggravated enter dwelling with intent knowing people there
- Larceny
- Steal motor vehicle
- Be carried in conveyance taken without consent of owner
All three were refused bail and will appear before a children's court on Thursday.
