New carpet for Wellington Library
Wellington Library will be closed to install new carpet from 19 - 23 November 2020. Temporary library service will be available at the Wellington Visitor Centre for patrons to return and renew items, and collect reservations on Friday 20 November and Monday 23 November 2020 between 10:00 am - 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm.
The library after-hours return chute will also be closed during this time. Items can be returned to Wellington Visitor Information Centre between 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. Thank you for your patience while we make these improvements to Wellington Library.

Changes to Macquarie Regional Library Loans Policy: On Monday November 16, Macquarie Regional Library will be ending some of the temporary changes it made to its Loans Policy at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, and these changes may affect your borrowing privileges.
From Monday November 16: The maximum number of items you can have on loan at any one time will return to 20 items.
The maximum amount of fines you can have on your account and still borrow will return to $10. If your fines balance is over $10, you will need to reduce it below this amount in order to borrow items from November 16.
All physical items will have a 3 week loan period, including DVDs and magazines.
You may renew your loan twice, providing your item is not overdue or reserved by another library member.
