The Penrith Panthers have confirmed Wellington junior Brent Naden has admitted himself to a rehabilitation clinic.

Naden approached the club to discuss a number of personal issues and has since sought medical advice.
"Following the 2020 NRL grand final, Brent Naden approached the club and disclosed a number of personal issues he wished to address," a statement from the Panthers released on Monday read.
"As a result, Brent is currently undertaking a voluntary rehabilitation program in a private Sydney facility.
"Brent, his family, his management and the club kindly ask the media to respect his privacy and will be making no further comment at this time."
The 2020 season was a turbulent one for the Cowboys product.
After starting the season in fine fashion, Naden was dropped from the starting lineup following the COVID lockdown.
When he earned his spot back he suffered racial abuse from the crowd in a match at Gosford in August but earned a huge amount of praise for the way he dealt with the matter.
He continued to be a threat in attack for the minor premiership-winning Panthers but was dropped back to the bench for the side's preliminary final and grand final.
