The Dubbo side defeated Cobar by 38-runs in a tough contest at Lady Cutler 1 on Sunday.
After a washout in round one, the Dubbo side was eager to start strong and things began well when new teenage captain Lawson Shepherd won the toss and opted to bat.
The runs flowed early before Vraj Chauhan (19) departed in the 12th over with the score on 64, leaving Heath Larance to combine Tom Barber in another handy partnership.
The pair added 38 before Larance fell for 46 and then Barber fell for the same score a little while later to leave things in the balance with Dubbo at 4/154.

But Rugby youngster Darcy Chewings held firm in the middle order and went on to make a half century, top-scoring for his side with 50, while a number of players chipped in with double figures to help the hosts to a total of 9/260 from the 50 overs.
Cobar needed to begin its chase well to be any chance, and Josh Brown delivered.
Brown, who had earlier taken 2/5 with the ball, was aggressive early and helped his side to 1/65 after the first 10 overs.
He found support in James McClure (32) and Stephen Nicholason (37) and threatened to take the game away from Dubbo.
But new ball bowler Ben O'Donnell returned to the attack and removed Brown for 77 to leave Cobar at 6/203.
That kickstarted a late collapse of 5/19 to secure the win for Dubbo.
O'Donnell bounced back well to finish with 3/59 from 8.5 overs while his brother Dale also chipped in with 2/24 and Shepherd took 2/27 from six overs in his first game as skipper.
Dubbo will next play host to Wellington on November 29 while Cobar will travel to play in Bourke on that date.
