Tristram Quinn, Shane Herron, Daniel Harper, Blake Carpenter, Kari Rauchle, Ben Thompson, Matt Cross, Neil Ashdown, Robbie Williams and Seiji Goto will be accumulating donations online which will be distributed across men's mental health projects.

The team's youngest participant Mr Goto said it's his first year participating in the drive, but given the hardships 2020 has brought to us all, it was a great year to have started.

"This year has been hard on everyone," Mr Goto said.

Fellow colleague Mr Herron said raising awareness around mental health was important, but this year it was a little more so given the current climate.

"We're just hoping to create awareness around mental health," Mr Herron said.

"Men's mental health in particular is something in which is in desperate need of awareness. There's too many out there toughing it out."

Movember is aiming to reduce the rate of male suicide by 25 per cent by 2030 by funding as many projects as they can while also drawing attention and awareness to the cause.

Mr Goto and Mr Herron agree that the best mo among the group thus far would have to go to team member Matt Cross, with Mr Goto accepting the fact that his mo is 'probably the worst' out of the group.

Mr Herron agreed that Mr Goto's mo is at the bottom of the ladder, but Mr Goto's mo growing skills, or lack thereof, are not deterring him from sticking it out for the month, and who knows, Mr Goto's mo could take a turn for the better and surprise us all.

The men have so far raised just short of $300, with an ultimate goal to reach $1,000 by the end of the month.
