It was the Year 12 Drama students, a class of 22, who wrapped up the exams, and the students couldn't have been more stoked.
Dubbo College school captain Lucy Roberts spoke on behalf of her peers when she said they were excited to finish the exams, and on such a high note, particularly after quite the stressful year.
"I'm absolutely thrilled to finally be done," Miss Roberts said.
"I had a huge two-week break between my second last and last exam. I studied really hard, and hopefully it's paid off today," she said.
After such a stressful year, Miss Roberts thanked her teachers, especially Ms Walters, for being there "every step of the way"
Dubbo College arts captain Jorja Fuller, who aspires to pursue a future in media and the arts, said she also found the exam to have been quite good.
"I found the questions quite easy, so I can confidently say I'm happy to be ending my HSC journey on a high note," Miss Fuller said.
Dubbo College Drama teacher Ms Kerrie Walters said she waited patiently to greet her students as they finished their final exam.
"I suspect the students may have found one question a little testing; but I believe it was quite a fair exam paper," Ms Walters said.
The class of 2020 will now look forward to their official graduation ceremony, which will be held at Apex Oval on Thursday, November 12 .
