Construction of a new Leading Edge Data Centre has started in Newcastle, a development application has been approved in Tamworth, and now the company are turning their sights to Dubbo.
Leading Edge Data Centre brought their Regional Roadshow to Dubbo last week, hosting a small forum for local businesses, the Dubbo Chamber of Commerce and Dubbo Regional Council, to provide them with a better understanding of what will be brought to the Dubbo region in the future.

Leading Edge Data Centre Chief Experience Officer Lauren Ryder also launched the company's new Galaxy Reseller Program while in Dubbo.
The program is aimed to help IT service providers connect with cross-industry businesses who will be working together to resell and deliver the centres solutions.
"This program is a fantastic opportunity for local businesses boost their digital offering. The ecosystem will support business growth, there are financial incentives, and most importantly, the full transformation will be supported by our team of experts at LEDC," Ms Ryder said.
Leading Edge Data Centre CEO Chris Thorpe said they were changing the way internet was provided to residents.
"For years, regional Australian cities like Dubbo have put up with unreliable and costly internet connections, compared to their metropolitan counterparts. They had no alternative - but we are changing that," he said.
Dubbo was just one of the stops on the roadshow journey, which also included Albury, Wagga Wagga and Tamworth.
The centre has flagged 14 sites for the regional hubs.
