Thunderstorms may roll into the city from Wednesday to Sunday.
On Tuesday the Bureau of Meteorology's (BoM) seven-day forecast for Dubbo suggested rain was on the way, especially on Saturday.

The BoM is predicting a 40 per cent chance of up to 1mm of rain falling on roofs and lawns on Wednesday, a 50 per cent chance of up to 3mm of rain on Thursday, a 50 per cent chance of up to 10mm on Friday, an 80 per cent chance of up to 25mm on Saturday and a 50 per cent chance of up to 10mm on Sunday.
Average rainfall in Dubbo during the month of October is 45.6mm.
On Tuesday morning the city had received 7mm of rain this October, including 4mm in the 24 hours to 9am Sunday.
The remaining 3mm fell across October 1, 8 and 9.
The 25-year record for the lowest October rain belongs to 2006 when 1.2mm was recorded at Dubbo City Regional Airport.
