Naiden Troy Edwards, of Cobra Street, Dubbo, pleaded guilty to intimidating a 66-year-old woman in her home during a hearing at Dubbo Local Court on Wednesday.
According to court documents, the victim offered Edwards a place to stay after he began speaking with her at her home on September 30.
The facts say the victim noticed Edwards' behaviour started to change on October 5 when he would stare at her in a sexual way, making her feel very uncomfortable and scared.

The victim said she would interact and ask questions, however, Edwards just stared and when he did respond he did not make sense.
On October 8, the victim's daughter-in-law told her Edwards had just been released from jail for prior convictions and she immediately asked him to leave.
The facts state Edwards did not acknowledge her and ignored further requests over the course of the day.
By October 11 the woman noticed Edwards laying on a lounge in her backyard holding a large axe in his hands.
After the victim asked Edwards to give her the axe and he refused, court documents state she did not sleep and felt afraid he would break into the house and hurt her.
About 5.30am the following morning the woman attempted to take the axe from Edwards while he was asleep but he woke.
Later that day as Edwards was organising his things to leave he warned the victim, "don't walk down the street or I'll come get ya". The woman started to cry and shake in fear.
Police charged Edwards with one count of intimidation after he was found walking down O'Donnell Street with no shirt on September 13.
The court heard Edwards was being medicated for schizophrenia and court documents revealed he had over 60 charges including aggravated break and enter.
Magistrate Gary Wilson said imprisonment was the only option.
"This is quite a disturbing set of facts," Mr Wilson said. "[The victim] must have been very concerned for her safety."
Edwards was sentenced to a three-month fixed jail term and will be eligible for release on January 12 next year.
