The former Wallaroo starred for the Goannas in last weekend's opening round win, running in five tries against the Castlereagh Cougars.
She'll be in action again on Saturday when the Goannas' open-age side meets the Midwest Brumbies at Mudgee but a slight positional change could make her even more of a threat.
Goannas coach Gerry 'Chicka' Merritt has moved the workhorse from lock to the second-row and she is expected to be a handful running out wide.
It's one of a number of changes Merritt has made for the match.
"I'm excited about it and we're trying a couple of different things," Merritt said of the Brumbies battle.
"Alahna Ryan will move into the forwards and go to lock because we've got Majayda Darcy back at fullback.
"Now Bec Smyth will be out on the edge in the second row and she's a bit wider and won't have to do all those carries and bash herself.
"It will give her a bit more freedom and space."

The return of Darcy creates another attacking threat for the Goannas and Merritt said the opening rounds are all about getting those players in key positions comfortable with each other.
"It's about the combinations," he said.
"Trying to get players in positions that they'll play all year and those halves and the nine and one together.
"That's a big thing for any side."
Em Caton is still development at hooker after being moved to the number nine jersey this year while April Townsend and Tori Canham are the new halves pairing.
"April is only back from having a baby a few months ago and it's just about working on fitness now because she's always had the skills and know-how," Merritt said.
The Goannas will start big favourites on Saturday after recording a 38-point win in round one while the Brumbies head into the contest having been beaten 52-0 by Woodbridge Cup in their opening game.
"Each game is going to be hard," Merritt said.
"It's a new year and there's new players in both sides. You never expect an easy game."
All four Goannas sides will again be in action at Mudgee with the competition expanded to include under 18s, 16s, and 14s this year.
Three of the four Goannas side won in round one and Merritt said it was a great feeling to be back around a sport which is continuing to grow.
"It's just getting stronger and stronger each year," the opens coach said.
"And all teams are filled across the board so that's really good. It's all a positive and it's only going to get better."
The action at Mudgee starts with the under 14s at 10am with the opens match kicking off at 2pm.
Elsewhere on Saturday the Vipers play host to Castlereagh in Orange while Woodbridge Cup meets the Panorama Platypi at Canowindra.
