Dubbo play host to Parkes on Sunday before a grand final rematch against Bathurst in the following fixture.
The two sides have dominated the Premier League in recent years, with a tie in 2017/18 decider followed by one title win each.
"The big challenge will be Bathurst in Bathurst," Skinner said.
"I know that will be one the blokes are looking forward to."

For years the WZPL had been dominated by Dubbo but Skinner feels the new challenge posed by Bathurst is helping boost interest in representative cricket.
"It's been good and makes blokes want to play and try that bit harder," he said.
"They want to be available for games I know people have cancelled things to play that game."
Dubbo will play its season opener against Parkes at No. 2 Oval on Sunday while elsewhere in round one Bathurst meets Cowra and Orange takes on Midwest.
