Skinner put up 73 runs for the Tigers in his side's first hit out of the 2020 season and remained in throughout, with Mitch Russo offering up 18 runs as the Tigers next best offering, while Skinner's output kept the contest competitive, with only two runs separating the rivals, the 137/9 total wasn't enough to hold off the Colts, who powered past to 139/5.

Jeffrey (49) and Morton (53) paved the way for the win, not only with their late batting partnership restarting the RSL Colt's chances after an early slump, but for taking the Tigers' opening batsmen out of the equation early with two quick catches.
The RSL-Colts will next face the CYMS Cougars, while Newtown will take on Rugby Cricket Club in round two this weekend.
