The team at Dubbo is asking community groups, businesses and schools to join in on the fun.
Headspace Dubbo community and youth engagement coordinator Amy Mines, said this year headspace Day will provide a chance for people to come together and do something everyone will be able to enjoy.
Mrs Mines said given the circumstances surrounding COVID-19 and the implementation of restrictions, celebrative opportunities have been limited, so it is the perfect way for communities to get back in on the fun.
"We're asking schools and businesses to join us in celebrating headspace Day by hosting an event," Mrs Mines said.
"It can be a morning tea, you can wear green, slime a teacher - the opportunities are endless."
While fundraising for the centre is welcome, the team at headspace will be paying it forward by directing all money raised back into the school's, businesses or community groups who raised it.
"We'll be using money raised to host headspace events or activities within the organisation that donated it," Mrs Mines said.
"That way we can create free tailored events to promote mental health awareness."
To register an event you can visit the headspace Dubbo Facebook page and follow the sign-up instructions.
Headspace Day will be held on Wednesday, October 21.
