Woolworths Dubbo group manager Scott Clayton reports demand for online delivery from both new and existing customers has "grown significantly" since the start of the coronavirus pandemic.
Consumers' take-up of shopping on their devices rather than in aisles is the same trend that's being seen nationally.
Online sales were up by 41.8 per cent to $3523 million in the year ending June 28, the Woolworths Group reported in its final profit and dividend announcement.
Mr Clayton said the company was seeing more and more Dubbo residents turning to contactless online delivery service through the pandemic.

"Demand for online delivery from both new and existing customers has grown significantly since the start of the pandemic, and we're continuing to work hard to meet the changing needs of local customers," he said.
"We have a dedicated team of personal shoppers, who take a lot of care when picking items for each and every customer order.
"With the extra demand, we've been pleased to welcome more than 15 new team members to help fulfill online orders in Dubbo this year."
