That's the opinion of captain Joe Yeo ahead of the decider battle with the Forbes Magpies.
With no Group 11 or Group 10 competitions this year the Western Youth League was formed to ensure the region's under 18s players still got a chance to compete and develop.
With the best of the two competitions going head-to-head there has been some outstanding matches played but now just the two Group 11 powerhouses remain.
And having taken all before them so far, Yeo is keen to take that next step.
"Definitely," he fired when asked if this competition means more.
"We've beat Bathurst St Pat's and Orange CYMS the week before so they're the benchmark over that way."
All the noise from within CYMS in recent weeks has been about the side playing its best football at the right time.
The wins over CYMS and St Pat's have proved that.

The performances have a come a long way since the opening rounds where the Fishies battled for consistency and fell behind both the Macquarie Raiders and Wellington Cowboys on the northern pool ladder.
But the belief never wavered.
"We were pretty confident we had what it took to get to a grand final," Yeo said.
CYMS got a good look at the Magpies last weekend as they stuck around to watch the second semi after defeating St Pat's.
Forbes wasn't at its absolute best in the win over Parkes but the warning signs were still there.
"They've been the benchmark for last two or three years now," Yeo said, Forbes having enjoyed plenty of success in the Group 11 under 18s competition.
"They're usually well drilled and have got some fast outside backs as well.
"They're pretty dominant in the middle."
Yeo has been a huge part of CYMS' success this year, with his dummyhalf running and ability to catch defences napping continually getting the Fishies on the front foot.
It's been something he's worked on throughout the season and the results have been clear to see, with a number of vital tries scored from close range by the captain.
"Improve my running game, especially," he said of what he's tried to bring to the team.
"It's a run first mindset and improve that early speed as well. That first 10 or 20 metres is crucial."
In terms of this weekend, Yeo said the biggest thing for CYMS is how it reacts to any adversity.
He pointed to times the side has compounded errors by giving away penalties or leaking a try and said CYMS won't be able to get away with that against a team like Forbes.
Kick-off is 2.25pm at Forbes' Spooner Oval on Sunday.
