Funding is available to individuals and not-for-profit organisations, including educational institutions, ex-service organisations, community groups, local government associations, museums and historical societies. I encourage organisations to apply for a grant and show their support for our veterans.

It was a great day at the Muller Park Tennis and Croquet Club on Saturday where I helped to officially open their brand new synthetic croquet courts!
This facility benefitted from a $194,000 grant from the NSW Government's Stronger Country Communities Fund and the members are all thrilled with the new and improved playing surface. Keeping active is so important for people of all ages so I'm proud to be able to support people in Dubbo to do just that!
Our community is battling through COVID-19 like the rest of the state, but it's also important to look at the opportunities the pandemic has created. The jobs of the future will include industries like advanced manufacturing and construction to name a few, and now the NSW Government has committed $159.3 million to help residents prepare for those jobs.
The Skilling for Recovery initiative is an excellent opportunity for people in the Dubbo electorate to upskill or reskill, and for school leavers to enter the workforce for the first time. I encourage anyone who has had their work situation impacted by COVID to see if these training opportunities can help them!
