An investigation is underway following an aggravated robbery which lead to women being threatened with a knife in Bourke.

On Sunday morning nearing 1:00 am a group of men approached two women, aged 53 and 55, who were sitting in a car which was parked in Darling Street.
The group threatened the women with a knife and attempted to gain access to the car.
The women were able to exit the car and flee the scene, however the group of men took off in the vehicle which also contained the women's personal belonging.

Police were alerted and officers from Central North Police District attended and commenced inquiries.
Anyone with information relating to the incident is being urged to come forward.
