Not only was it the second day being at her new shop in Darling Street, but she hosted a fundraiser for a cause that is not only pays tribute to a dear friend, but is continuing her legacy.
Ms Rutherford held a Bright Pink Lipstick Day to raise money and awareness of ovarian and breast cancer in memory of her good friend Kate Chapman who lost her battle with the disease last year.
They were going to collaborate and hold the fundraiser together in 2019, but it had to be put on hold.
Kate was so lovely and she knew a lot of people.

"But it's nice that we could still do it," Ms Rutherford said.
"Kate was so lovely and she knew a lot of people. I think this day is a very hard day for her family and friends."
Customers could purchase a raffle ticket to some amazing prizes, there were also a few major prizes to be won that had been donated by local businesses, with all money raised going towards the fundraiser.
There was pink lipstick available and booby cupcakes for sale.
Ms Rutherford said the community's support in getting behind the fundraiser had been "amazing."
"I just put a call out on Instagram asking if people had donations, or to donate their time to sell tickets," she said.
While Ms Rutherford didn't have a fundraiser target goal, she said "any little bit helps."
"It was a last minute thing I threw together, but I'm happy I could still do it," she said.
Her business Cakes By Amy Rutherford was originally situated in Palmer Street, but the new move has seen Ms Rutherford branch out.
"It's not the traditional cafe, everything is in takeaway and the idea is to do fast, delicious food well," she explained.
"Everyone is busy so we're trying to get people in and out. But if they want to sit in and enjoy the courtyard and the party room they can."
