The facade of the hospital's new front of house in the Macquarie Building is hard to miss.
Health Infrastructure calls it "impressive".
"The front of house features an impressive double-storey glass frontage to let in plenty of natural light and provide a clear main entry point for patients and visitors," its spokeswoman said.

The Macquarie Building is being constructed under the state government's $150 million stage three and four redevelopment of the hospital.
Builder Hansen Yuncken is currently focused on the front of house facade along with the internal fit-out of the building. Installation of medical equipment is also underway.
There are three departments operational in the Macquarie Building.
The emergency and medical imaging departments moved into the building in March to allow it to expand into their old footprint.
The coronary care unit was fast-tracked in case the hospital needed more intensive care beds in the COVID-19 pandemic.
When the Macquarie Building is complete and commissioned across "several weeks", the emergency department's permanent reception and waiting areas will be among the first areas to be opened to the public.
The Health Infrastructure spokeswoman said the three departments were "completed and opened in stages to maintain patient services throughout the move".
"A similar staged approach will be taken for the remaining areas of the Macquarie Building, which includes the intensive care unit, ambulatory care floor, specialist medical clinics and new front of house," she said.
The new front of house will include a main reception area, seating areas for visitors and patients, retail space and a drop-off zone.
