The five-eight was lethal near the try-line for CYMS and helped Jeremy Thurston to one of the best tries of the game, an effort that was made even better by knowing his children were watching.

"My two babies were up there with the missus, it was really good, because the young fella absolutely loves the footy, so it's great to have them all down here for the game," Bonham said.
"It's good for all of us around the team, really, a few of the other boys have got kids too and they're all around about the same age now, so it's always good to see them all out there and get that support."
Father's Day was the theme at Apex Oval on Sunday, with rows of dads lining up to watch the action of the juniors, with a mini 6s and 8s game being played after the under 18s clash between Wellington and CYMS and during the half-time break of the main event between CYMS and Thirroul.
"Especially at half-time, when all the kids got to run out and play their own little game with the parents watching, that was great."
While Bonham was disappointed to see the CYMS season end, he praised many around the club for stepping up and making the most of what has been a tough and challenging season of footy.
