To mark the special occasion, Dubbo's Redgum Childcare Centre hosted a very special breakfast for parents on Friday, September 4 during the morning drop off.
The centre usually outs on a barbecue and activities for parents and carers each father's Day, but COVID-19 restrictions meant this couldn't go ahead in 2020.
They were treated to bacon and egg rolls, coffee, juice and pancakes.
This is the second time that the centre has had to change up its events this year when it hosted a similar breakfast to celebrate Mother's Day in May.

But that was so successful they knew they had to do it again for Father's Day and chose the theme of construction as renovations are underway at the centre.
Redgum Childcare Centre director Deanna McCarthy said it was great to see so many dads doing the drop off that morning.
