A LICENSED premises in Mudgee has been slapped with a $5000 fine for failing to comply with coronavirus safety restrictions.
At 10.25pm on Saturday, August 22, officers attached to Orana Mid-Western Police District attended the venue to conduct a COVID-19 compliance check.

Police will allege that a number of patrons were not maintaining social distancing.

NSW Police have urged the community to report suspected breaches of any ministerial direction or behaviour which may impact on the health and safety of the community.
Anyone who has information regarding individuals or businesses in contravention of a COVID-19 related ministerial direction is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
