Cojuangco, who founded Gooree Park at Mudgee, passed away on June 16, with many in the racing industry mourning the loss.
He and Gooree Park have long been supporters of the Mudgee club and Sunday's bumper cup will honour his memory.
The field is loaded with class, with a number of Dubbo trainers firmly in the mix for feature success.
Darren Hyde's Westlink is coming off a hugely impressive win at his home track last time out while the Kody Nestor-trained Fast Talking is another who is certain to be popular with punters after finishing a handy second in his first start from a spell earlier this month.
Nestor will also saddle up Toulon Brook while the other Dubbo-trained hopes in the race are the Allan Gibson-trained Cowboys Karma and Zoutenant from the stables of Dar Lunn.
Top weight No Escape is set to be another of the main contenders, the eight-year-old being first-up for Hawkesbury trainer Terry Croft at Mudgee and will be ridden by promising apprentice Ronald Simpson.
Racing starts at 1.10pm on Sunday with the cup the seventh of eight events on the card.
