A MAN has been charged by police and refused bail in Orange Local Court on Wednesday following an overnight stabbing.

The man appeared in court via an audio visual link to apply for bail after being charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
No pleas have been entered.
At 8.40pm on Tuesday, emergency services were called to a home on Forbes Road, Parkes following reports of a stabbing.
A 23-year-old man was found with a stab wound to his stomach.
He was treated at the scene before being airlifted to Westmead Hospital where he is reported to be in a critical but stable condition.
Officers from Central West Police District established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the incident.
A 22-year-old man was arrested at the scene and taken to Parkes Police Station, where he was charged with wounding a person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
Police said the two men are known to each other.
The Parkes man was refused bail by police before appearing before magistrate David Day where he made another application in Orange Local Court on Wednesday.
Mr Day refused him bail and said the charge was a serious indictable offence.
"If he is convicted of the offence of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm he will go to jail full time," Mr Day said.
