Ryan rode four winners there and the achievement was made even more special given it helped him pass the 4000 career victories mark.
A stalwart of racing in the western area, Ryan will be back at the Gilgandra track on Saturday has the chance to enjoy another big day out.
The main event is the $14,000 Collie Cup (1280m) and Ryan will team up with the Geoff O'Brien-trained Vega De Lago in that race.
The tough eight-year-old is a country cup specialist but hasn't tasted success since taking out the $50,000 Mudgee Cup Day Sprint (1200m) last December.
Vega De Lago was first up that day and has been racing consistently since, with only a couple of brief freshen ups breaking things up.
The Quirindi-trained eight-year-old heads into Saturday's feature having run eighth in the Bengalla Cup (1280m) at Muswellbrook last time out.
Vega De Lago is one of a number of experienced campaigners who will take on the cup and O'Brien's hope will go from gate one.
The Brett Thompson-trained Attalea is another veteran in the field and he went close to another victory last time out at Dubbo when running third behind the accomplished Westlink.
Among the other main hopes are the Gavin Groth-trained Redemption Road, which will be ridden by in-form apprentice Kath Bell-Pitomac, Rodney Robb's Sons Of Bourke, and the new addition to Colin Edgar's Coonamble stables, Oakfield General.
While the Collie Cup is the headline event on Saturday there will also be four memorial races contested.
They will be the Cam and Dorothy Memorial, the Mick and Margaret Memorial, the Keith Kilby Memorial, and the Bob and Clare Coxsedge Memorial.
Racing starts at 1.21pm on Saturday.
