Friends of William Lefiot, 25-years-old and Charlene reported the pair as missing to police after they failed to arrive at a prearranged camp spot on Namatjira Drive, near Gosse's Bluff Crater on Wednesday.
The pair are travelling in a 1998 model Maroon Nissan Patrol, which has a silver roof rack and black bull bar and Western Australia registration 1GTF376.
It is unknown what provisions they have on them.
