Fly Corporate will rebrand as Link Airways from August.
The company is advising its Dubbo passengers of a "gradual name change".
"Our ownership, fleet and fantastically committed team remain unchanged and we invite our customers, partners and the communities we serve to join us as we move forward under the new identity," chief executive officer Andrew Major said.
"We are hugely excited by this milestone in our company's 48th year and remain committed to connecting local communities across eastern Australia."
Under a federal government program, Link Airways continues to provide a minimum weekly schedule to all communities it serviced prior to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Mr Major said the program provided critical connectivity for essential travellers and freight and the company looked forward to further increasing the frequency of flights "in due course".
"This will however be governed by the extent of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and associated state border restrictions," he said.
"Meanwhile the airline has established extensive protocols to help ensure the safety of our customers, the communities that we service and our staff, with all passengers being subject to temperature testing at check-in and compulsory wearing of face masks, which are supplied free of charge."
