The former Western Rams has endured a turbulent couple of years and lost some of his love for the game during a disappointing season-long stint with the Newcastle Knights.
But since returning to Cronulla, the club where he starred in the under 20s and made his NRL debut, for the 2020 season Ramien has been working his way back into top form.
Ramien and his Sharks couldn't get a win over Parramatta in horrible wet and cold conditions the boom centre scored a try and was again one of his side's biggest attacking threats.

"Last year I probably didn't enjoy my footy and it showed on the field and since I've been back I'm loving my footy again and that's showing again."
Ramien has seven tries in 12 games this season and only winger Sione Katoa has broken through more tackles at the Sharks.
Ramien has created strong combinations with both Katoa and Ronaldo Mulitalo when they played on the right edge while halfback Shaun Johnson, who has the most try assists in the NRL, has also continually brought them into the game.
"He makes me look good," Ramien laughed when discussing Johnson.
The Sharks meet the Titans this weekend and will likely need a win to maintain their place in the top eight.
The match will be the 51st in Ramien's career after a milestone last weekend.
"I've played 50 games in the NRL and while it might not be too many it's still massive for myself," he said.
The Sharks and Titans do battle at Jubilee Stadium from 3pm on Saturday afternoon.
