The Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) reports of a total of 14 millimetres (mm) of rain being collected by the automatic weather station at Dubbo City Regional Airport this month, as of Wednesday morning.
The heaviest fall was 8mm in the 24 hours to 9am Saturday, August 8.

In the previous 24 hours, 5mm of rain landed in Dubbo.
Average rainfall in Dubbo during the month of August is 34.1mm.
The BoM's seven-day forecast as of Wednesday reports of a 90 per cent chance of between 10mm and 15mm of rain falling in Dubbo on Friday and between 4mm and 10mm on Saturday.
There is a 40 per cent chance of the city receiving up to 1mm on Sunday and up to 3mm on Tuesday, according to the seven-day forecast.
Burrendong Dam was almost a third full on Tuesday.
WaterNSW reported of it being at 32.2 per cent of capacity.
The worst drought on record left the dam at less than 1.5 per cent of capacity at the start of this year.
