Police will allege in court that about 5pm on Monday, a man made sexual advances towards a teenage girl at a business on Opal Street in Lightning Ridge.
The man was removed from the store by management.
Shortly after 8am on Tuesday, the same girl was walking to school when it is alleged she was approached a second time by the same man on Opal Street.
The incidents were reported to officers attached to Central North Police District who commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the approaches.
Following inquiries, investigators arrested a 53-year-old man on Harlequin Street in Lightning Ridge, at 10am on Wednesday.
He was taken to Lightning Ridge Police Station where he was charged with intentional incite child over 10 years and under 16 do sexual act to other, stalk/ intimidate intend fear physical harm, and behave in offensive manner in public place.
The man was bail refused and appeared before Walgett Local Court Thursday.
