This is the recommendation if you are shopping at Woolworths, Big W, Dan Murphy's and BWS here in town.
So will you wear a mask?
The group have said while they aren't mandatory in NSW or the ACT (they are in Victoria), they 'feel it's important that collectively we make face coverings feel as normal as possible and do whatever we can to help reduce community transmissions of COVID-19.
A face mask is a highly visible sign that COVID-19 is still with us, and after the reports on Friday that there is a case in the Western Local Area Health District (a student at CSU in Orange), it's even closer to home than it was earlier in the week.
But, one thing to remember if you are out an about, is that not everyone can wear a mask - for a number of reasons. So please, make sure you are adhering to the social distancing health measures, and respecting others if they are choosing to take the opposite approach to you - whether that be wearing a mask or not.
We can only do this if we are in it together.
