In a double-header week the Bulls suffered a heavy 5-2 loss to Macquarie last Thursday but bounced back on Sunday when downing Barnies by that same score.
Brody Austin bagged a double while Gareth Williams, Alex Richardson-Bell, and Dom Ambler also got on the scoresheet.
A stunning first half effort set-up the comfortable win, with four goals being scored in the first 45 minutes.
Co-captain Kobe Rapley admitted things weren't quite the same in the second stanza but it was still a commanding win ahead of this weekend's long trek to Lithgow.
"It slowed down a bit and got a bit complacent but it's good to get a win after Thursday's effort," Rapley said.
The win kept the Bulls in a share of the lead with Macquarie but Rapley knows nothing can be taken for granted in the regional league
"Across the board it's been very competitive and Lithgow are very competitive so it will be a good match-up next weekend," he said.
The Bulls' Sunday smashing started inside the first ten minutes as they netted an early goal before Williams continued his fine goal-scoring run and set the tone for what would be a dour opening stanza for the home side.
The Dubbo side went on with the job from there and Barnies midfielder Duncan Logan lamented his side's inability to stop the Bulls when dissecting the performance.
"We started too slow and positionally we weren't good enough," Logan said.
"Those first two goals, the centre back was up in the midfield and then our left back was standing on the touch line... you could have parked a truck there.
"That's disappointing because it's just poor shape and the boys know that but knowing it doesn't fix it. We need to get training and put in the work."
