Earlier in the month, Dubbo Regional Council formalised the names of 10 new roads in the estate.
Like the rest of the Kintyre Estate, the names are taken from villages and locations from Kintyre on the Argyll Peninsula in Scotland.
ALSO MAKING NEWS:
The main road in the subdivision will be Kildavie Circuit. Kildavie was a village in the 17th and 18th centuries before it was abandoned.
Meanwhile, the other roads will be Calliburn Street, Saddell Street, Glenbarr Parkway, Dippen Street, Carradale Court, Barfad Street, Ballochroy Parkway, Tarbert Street and Whitehouse Street.
The Kintyre subdivision that will feature the new roads is comprised of 144 residential lots and one common property lot.
