The water restrictions are on the agenda for the Dubbo Regional Council meeting.
Chief executive officer Michael McMahon has suggested the restrictions go to level one, with another review to be undertaken in October.

"It should be noted that the average current residential consumption is 160 litres per person, per day, which is well below the expected target for level one restrictions of 380 l/p/d," he said in the report to council.
However, Mr McMahon doesn't want residents to become complacent with their water use.
"While we are reducing our level of restrictions to level one it is important to remain aware of our obligations to be water wise and vigilant to changing conditions and to review this position again in October 2020," he said.
The Dubbo LGA is currently on level three restrictions.
If level one restrictions were to be introduced there would be no limit on the amount of watering that could be undertaken.
However, the watering has to be attended or on a programmable timed system.
