It might not be a feature event but the final event on the card at Wellington Race Club on Monday could rightly be confused for a country cup.

The field for the Hermitage Hill Country Retreat Mountain and Rivers Handicap (1400m) is loaded with talent and many stalwarts of the western racing scene.
The field is headlined by the returning cup specialist Steamin', who will be first-up from a nine-week spell for hometown trainer Michael Mulholland.
Mulholland will be delighted if this preparation turns out anything like the tough gelding's last few.
Steamin' won both the Forbes Cup and $100,000 Dubbo Gold Cup last year before returning earlier this year and taking out the biggest event on the Parkes racing calendar.

That event in May was the eight-year-old's last start and he powered home late that day in the 1600m feature to claim victory.
He returns on Monday with Jake Pracey-Holmes taking the ride on the gutsy galloper for the first time.
Greg Ryan has won the cups with Steamin' but he will instead ride Caszar for veteran trainer Barry Molloy.
The race at Wellington also features former Country Championships finalists Westlink, Noel's Gift, and Sea Lady as well as cup specialists A Magic Zariz, A Martin Placepick, and Welcome Art.
Darren Hyde is eyeing bigger things with Westlink this preparation and will have high hopes for his gelding on Monday following a hugely promising run first-up at Scone last month.
Hyde is eager to target city events but the Wellington race is first and Ashley Morgan will again be in the saddle.
Morgan rode a fast-finishing Westlink to fourth at Scone last time out.
Kirk Matheson will ride Noel's Gift for Gayna Williams while Wayne Martyn's Sea Lady heads to Wellington after a strong second-placed finish in the recent Curlewis Cup at Moree.
A Magic Zariz and A Martin Placepick are regular in the open class or higher-rated events and both have wins and placings to their names in recent starts for respective trainers Rodney Robb and Wayne Collison.
Steamin' headlines Mulholland's three hopes at his home track.
He'll also have Lucky Elixir and Cutie Patoutie in action.
The latter is coming off a long-awaited first career win at Dubbo and will again be ridden by Kath Bell-Pitomac in the Kosciuszko Tickets On Sale Class 1 Handicap (1100m) while Greg Ryan will ride Lucky Elixir in the KFC Wellington Benchmark 58 Handicap (2400m).
Racing at Wellington Race Club on Monday starts at 12.50pm.
