Brad Fittler touched down in the Central West alongside fellow former Blues Steve Menzies and Craig Wing.
The New South Wales Blues' coach visited Orange to take part in a training session in which he'd oversee Cameron Greenhalgh's Rams outfit before taking Hawks and CYMS under 18s' halves through a series of drills.
While he played a more hands-on role with the teenagers, the 48-year-old legend made some meaningful observations of a Rams side that's set to enter the looming Presidents Cup competition, a tournament made up of teams from the Central West, Hunter and Sydney.

The men in green boast the likes of Ethan McKellar, Cody Godden and Tom Romer but Fittler's of the opinion they might struggle when they touch down in the city.
"They might struggle size-wise," Fittler said.
"The competition's pretty thick and a lot of them are just coming in and out of first grade so they're full-time trained so size could be an issue.
"I'll tell you what ... they looked fit when they were running, they were keeping their pace - it was impressive."
Greenhalgh will reveal how much size he'll have in his 18-man squad as the mentor is set to announce a side at some stage on Tuesday.
The Rams will take on the Hills Bulls on Sunday and it that bodes well for the side's Magpies contingent, with Mitch Burke and Mitch Andrews among those who were at training on Monday night.
Jackson Brien was another decorated player who made an appearance as he slotted into the left centre position for the side's opposed session against the under 18s.
