Racing returns to the Dubbo track on Friday and there could be more than the eight events originally scheduled after a massive 248 nominations were released on Monday.
The last two meetings at Dubbo have been the biggest back-to-back events at the club in recent history as they both featured 10 races
Friday's Class 1 Benchmark Handicap (1300m) attracted the most of the nominations, with 43.
Among those was last-start winner Eagleworks from the Dubbo stables of Connie Greig, as well as the promising pair Amy's Shadow and Christo, trained by Brett Thompson and Cameron Crockett.
Also in the mix is Dream Song from the stables of this season's most successful trainer in NSW Kris Lees, who recently hit 200 wins for the season.

The Benchmark 58 Handicap (1400m) also proved popular as it drew in 41 nominations.
Clint Lundholm's duo Any Blinkin' Day and Dusky Damsel were among those.
Albury trainer Mitchell Beer nominated three hopes - Jawwaal, Seel The Deel, and Zaberfeldie - for the event and out forward six in total for the meeting after a turbulent period.
Someone who races regularly in both NSW and Victoria and has stables in both states, Beer was forced to quickly move staff after the border was closed last week.
He's not someone who regularly races at Dubbo but has less options in front of him currently.
"I've had to tell seven staff to go home, get their belongings and in some cases pets and move to Albury," Beer told The Border Mail last week.
"Otherwise you don't have a job which is almost unbelievable.
"It's not ideal but thankfully all my staff have committed and will make the move.
"It's a big ask and at the end of the day it's my business and not theirs. So they are sacrificing a lot and without my staff, I don't have any horses in work.
"We are in the process of finding some suitable accommodation. Thankfully some of the staff have relatives in NSW they can live with."
Final fields are released on Wednesday.
