Two $10,000 scholarships are available for Aboriginal students in their penultimate year at university.

The scholarship includes a paid internship at NSWALC to provide the recipients with experience on their pathway to employment.

Dubbo's Taylah Gray was one of last year's recipients.

Ms Gray said her work with the Legal Services Unit greatly assisted her research ability and gave her valuable legal knowledge on Aboriginal land rights and Native Title.

"Once I complete my degree, I plan on writing a PhD focusing on the relationship between Native Title and Land Rights," she said.

The six-week internship is to be undertaken during November 2020 and February 2021. However, due to COVID-19, the exact times for the internship will be determined closer to the date.

Fields of study may include law, finance, business, media and communications, human resources, land and environment, planning, policy, or property management.
