The Coonamble junior started for the Tahs against the Reds last week in what was his first match since playing for the NSW Country Eagles in the National Rugby Championship last October.
The back-rower suffered a concussion at Waratahs pre-season and was left with lasting symptoms that resulted in him seeking out a variety of professionals and fellow players.

It was his second serious bout of concussion after a head knock in a Waratahs clash with the Melbourne Rebels early last season.
But the former Wallaby has been back at training post-COVID and will start again when the Tahs take on the Western Force on Saturday night.
And he won't shy away from getting physical, either.
"I'm a bit of an idiot like that and throw my head at it and it's probably why I got knocked out in the first place," he joked.
"The first game back it will always be not as familiar as you're used to but ... it comes back pretty quick."
Hanigan added it was great to see the Force back.
The Western Australia side had been axed from Super Rugby by Rugby Australia two years but have returned for the domestic competition after the regular was format had to be abandoned due to the COVID-10 pandemic.
Kick-off is 7.15pm on Saturday at the SCG.
