The classes will be held at the St Mary's Primary School auditorium and it s a welcome change after earlier in the term everything was done over Zoom as familiesi turned their lounge rooms into makeshift gyms.
The extraordinary efforts from the teachers and the members of the club has kept the club connected and teamwork and self-motivation has come to the fore and allowed people to keep progressing with the 2020 syllabus.
Charles Sturt University has generously provided a grant allowing the purchase of a wireless headset microphone system with headwear for each of the six teachers. A coronavirus safety plan is in place and the CSU contribution has allowed classes to be spread across a wider floor space.
Guiding and motivating students is made more efficient through the microphone system, as clarity and loudness of voice makes teacher communication clearer.
Orana Physical Culture is very grateful for the valuable CSU support as well as the support of sponsors Regional Australia Bank, Violet Hair Van, South Dubbo Tavern and the Peppercorn Childcare Centre.
The BJP Physie Sydney office has sent out more than 10,000 emails allowing registered members to download the 2020 syllabus video.
This ensures that physie girls and women from all over Australia have the video files to practice at home.
Although the coronavirus has caused the cancellation of this year's interclub events, physie communities are still empowering their members, continuing to build fitness and social connection through the joy of dance.
