The announcement comes as Deputy Premier and Minister for Regional NSW John Barliaro announced $700,000 in Dubbo to assist Golf NSW to stage qualifiers for the annual tournament in regional NSW.
While dates have not been finalised, the rounds are expected to be held in Dubbo, Albury, Bega, Coffs Harbour, Queanbeyan and Tweed.
Dubbo Golf Club president Niall McNicol said it was "very exciting".
"It's very exciting for Dubbo Golf Club to again be in partnership with the state government ... it's absolutely terrific to hear that announcement today," he said.
"It's also great to help the state government as we can with any tournaments, this have gone on beautifully the past couple of years and the clubs getting better and better."
"The club has been fairly successful the past couple of years, and growing, getting bigger and better all the time, and another announcement like the one that has been made today, it just keeps improving the image of the club, not only here but throughout the state it is becoming well known. We are getting a lot more visitors from places like Sydney, Central Coast and the South Coast all coming here. It's all a benefit for us, the club and the local community.
Mr Barilaro said the NSW Government is committed to supporting communities in regional NSW as they recover from the impact of drought, bushfires and COVID-19.
"As we've always said the $1.3 million investment in this club facility meant if you build it they will come, and they are coming back later this year, through golf, a great tourism driver," he said.
"Very exciting for the people here in Dubbo, but more exciting for the club.
"Golfers love nothing more than a weekend away and a new course to play, so I'm sure fans will jump at the chance to plan a regional road trip to watch the pros and also get in a few rounds themselves.
"The Department of Regional NSW will work with Golf NSW to deliver an event that is both COVIDSafe and provides economic benefits through increased tourism."
The announcement comes on the back of the 2020 Women's NSW Open which was played in Dubbo in February. The tournament delivered economic and social benefits with fans travelling to the region to see some of the worlds best professional and amateur players compete in Dubbo.
