The Western Local Area Health Service will set up a mobile COVID-19 testing services in Brewarrina on Wednesday, July 8.

The service will be available from 10am to 2pm and set up at the Information Centre, 40 Bathurst Street, Brewarrina.
The Western Local Area Health service said they encourage anyone with symptoms, even if they are mild, to be tested.

Symptoms associated with COVID-19 include a fever, cough, shortness of breath or a sore and scrathy throat.
Tests are free and residents don't need a referral or appointment to attend the mobile service.
Residents are asked to drive to the site, and staff will come to their car to collect information and swabs of the persons throat and nose.
Those swabs are sent away for testing and results are normally available in 24-72 hours.
