We were visiting the Coolah Tops National Park on the Queens Birthday Week-end, with the aim of hiking, not camping.

It was our first visit there, although we know most other hiking national parks in the hinterland, and love them.
We had a flat tire, and while working out how to substitute the spare (reading the manual) a Convoy of Caravans all from Dubbo stopped, and helped us.
The roads were narrow, dirt, and a challenge, and although we know we would have managed, the speed with which the Dubbo team changed our tyre etc was special.
We were so overwhelmed we forgot to ask their names, but we just want to thank these good folk from Dubbo, who took time out from a well deserved break from the virus restrictions to sort out a flat tyre for us.
Then, I might add that the local mechanic in Coolah (Leighs), turned out on a Saturday afternoon to fix the tyre.
Thank you to rural NSW.
