HAVE you been to Melbourne during the past 14 days?
If so, your trip south of the border will prevent you from entering hospitals across Western NSW.
The question is also being asked during coronavirus at every hospital and testing clinic across the region.
The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Victoria is continuing to surge with more than 250 new cases detected during the past week alone.
Western NSW Local Health District public health director Priscilla Stanley said the COVID-19 situation is continually being monitored.
"Visitors to any of our hospitals or health services should check in advance to make sure they know and understand the rules at that time, and follow the directions of staff," she said.
"Visitors may not enter if they have returned from overseas in the last 14 days, returned from the greater Melbourne area in the last 14 day or have been in contact with a person confirmed to have COVID-19 within the last 14 days."
