Lundholm, who hails from Coonamble, had eight of his horses placed in the showcase meeting set for Sunday, and was 'devastated' to hear that the meeting had been canned due to rain.
It's a real pleasure having him race for us, he's a real role model.

"I was really looking forward to going home, I never seem to have any luck there, but I lined up a fair few because I always enjoy getting back there, but it's just not to be," Lundholm said.
Instead, Lundholm's focus has now shifted to Gorn Hoff and the three other horses he'll be starting in Warren, with Hoff a particularly strong chance after some good showings in Dubbo.

"I think Hoff's really well placed, he was pretty unluckily balloted at Wellington, a few balloted horses pushed him out and he just didn't get a start, so he's had a month or so between runs," Lundholm said.
"But I don't think that'll hurt him, he's a naturally fit horse and he's back on the fresh side a bit, with Greg [Ryan] on his back, I'm sure he'll go well."
Ryan, another Dubbo favourite, will be looking to add another to his long list of achievements, with the potential for another seasonal century of wins looming if he can find the post with one of his charges on the day.
"Greg's just a marvel, I've got a lot of time for him, Pauline and their son Isaac, they're great mates of ours and he's been a huge help to our stable," Lundholm said.
"He's a great asset to have and he gives us such a great insight to the horse every time, he's even been giving Georgina McDonell, our new apprentice, some great tips."
"It's a real pleasure having him race for us and he's a real role model."
McDonnell will be putting that mentoring to use with the reins of Matter of Factor earlier in the day, racing for Lundholm after having some success with the horse earlier in the year.
"Dave Ringland, who owns Matter of Factor, he wanted to give Georgina the opportunity to ride Matter about two starts back and she was only just beaten," Lundholm said.
"So she's gone back on in a very suitable race and she'll get that opportunity to get the win on her tomorrow."
