Georges Plains trainer Bernie Hewitt enjoyed a successful evening at the Bathurst Paceway on Wednesday, with four winners from the eight-race meeting.

Hewitt drove Voodoo Lou to victory in the Lion Nathan Pace (1730 metres), Smooth Sailor in the Bedwells Feed Barn Pace (2260 metres) and Abettasecret in the Tab Long May We Play 2YO Pace (1730 metres), while his son Doug Hewitt drove his five-year-old gelding Bella Ball Terror to success in the Bourkes Horse Rugs Pace (2260 metres).
And Hewitt was oh so close to getting five wins on the night, with race favourite Tromso ($3.30) coming second in the Bling It On Pace (1730 metres), finishing behind Aaron Williams' Shes Koala Tee (1730 metres).
Voodoo Lou, who won the the fourth race of the meeting, picked up his third win in his seven-race career, and second win in three starts.
The three-year-old black filly was backed as a hot $1.50 favourite and she disappoint the bookies, winning by 11.5 metres ahead of second place.
Bella Ball Terror was Hewitt's second win of the night when Doug drove his father's gelding to a win ahead of Kash Us Back, before Smooth Sailor cruised to a comfortable 10.6 metre win over a second for Hewitt's third win at the meeting.
Hewitt's final win came in the last race of the meeting, when he drove Abettasecret to a comfortable win, finishing 12.6 metres ahead of $1.95 race favourite Drive To The Beach in second.
It was the first win for the bay filly in her race debut, after four trails in the past two months.
