Dubbo Regional Council have given Dubbo Rotunda Markets the approval to proceed from Sunday, June 28.
Dubbo Rotunda Market honorary market coordinator Geraldine McKay said they are elated that the decision to grant permission has been given.
However, Ms McKay said they realise the great responsibility is placed upon them, the participants and the public to adhere to the rules and regulations.
"We have been inundated with grateful messages and congratulations from stall holders and Macquarie Street businesses," she said.
"There is a lot of hard work yet to be done on top of the hard work already done."
Ms McKay said Better Markets Inc. would like to thank Dubbo MP Dugald Saunders and his staff for their advocacy as well as the multipartisan approaches from all sides of politics to get Health Order #3 amended by the Minister for Health.
"We have great faith in the community that they will as individuals respect and be mindful of the social distancing regulations," she said.
